Admission Committee for Professional Graduate Medical Educational Courses (acpuGMec) said on Wednesday that out of the total 19,408 students registered so far for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, Ayurvedic and homeopathy courses, 15,416 have got their applications and documents verified till Wednesday.
Students who have registered themselves will have to verify their registration form and documents during October 4 to October 15.
As per the intake schedule announced by national medical commission (NMC), the first round of admission for All India Quota seats for medical and dental courses will be held during October 11-20. Deemed universities and central institutions will conduct admissions for All India quota seats from October 10 which will end on October 20 and October 17-28 for state quota seats. The second round of admission to the All India Quota for state quota seats will be held from November 2 to November 10 and November 7 to 18.
The state has around 12,000 seats for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses, which includes 500 seats in the five recently established medical colleges in the state.
