2.58 lakh new covid cases in India, positivity up from 16.28% to 19.65%

Active cases now account for 4.43 per cent of the total infections.

India’s Covid curve showed slight improvement today as the country registered 2.58 lakh cases, which is almost 5 per cent less than yesterday. According to the Ministry of Health, 385 people have died due to Kovid during the last 24 hours.

  1. The country’s caseload is now 3.73 crores. This includes 8,209 cases of the Omicron variant that are now present in 29 states.
