2 separate incidents in Rishikesh three youths are flowing in river Ganga, continues

In Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, two incidents took place on Wednesday, three youths were swept away in the waters of the Ganges. According to the information received from the police, an operation was launched in the river to search for the three youths. However, nothing has been known about them yet. The first incident took place at Namami Gange Ghat in Shivpuri, Rishikesh, where two members of a group of youths who had gone to bathe in the Ganges on the occasion of Holi were washed away. Both the youths were B.Tech students who had studied in sightseeing. While bathing in the river, both of them started drowning when they went into deep water.

The deceased have been identified as Aditya Raj, a resident of Kolkata in West Bengal and Utkarsh (both aged 22 years), a resident of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, in another incident, a young man who was visiting Patna Waterfall with his friends got washed away by the water of the river. Slipping his feet on the bank, the young man was swept away by the river water. The youth has been identified as Shobhit Yadav (30), a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.

In both the incidents, the State Disaster Protestan Force (SD Freeze) team carried out the Ghasi operation. However, nothing is known about them yet. Police said that the search operation will be conducted again on Thursday.
