The 2021 Audi Q5 facelift is all set to go on sale in India later this month, and ahead of its launch, the company has officially unveiled the luxury SUV in India. Audi has already started the local assembly of the updated Q5 in India, and bookings for the SUV have also started for a token amount of ₹ 2 lakh. While the SUV was expected to be launched very soon, due to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Audi India had to postpone the launch. However, the new Q5 is finally ready to go on sale in India, and here is everything we know about it so far.

- The Audi Q5 comes to our market as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit and is assembled at the Aurangabad, Maharashtra plant of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), the parent company of Audi, VW Group.

- In terms of exterior features, the Q5 comes with a pair of revised full-LED headlamps along with new LED daytime running lamps, while Audi will offer Matrix LED headlamps as an optional feature. The SUV also gets 5 double-spoke star style alloy wheels measuring 19-inches along with all new OLED taillights with 3 different rear light signatures or patterns.

- Inside, the Q5 now gets a refreshed cabin with black interior trim with tan leather upholstery and matching panels on the doors and center console. Of course, Audi will offer more trim options and customization options. The SUV also gets a new steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and a ton of storage options.

Other expected features include – Wireless Phone Charger, Audi Park Assist, Comfort Key with sensor-controlled boot-lid operation, Audi Exclusive Inlay in Black Piano Lacquer, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, B&O Premium 3D Sound System.
- In terms of safety, antilock braking system (ABS) with multiple airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), traction control (TC) and keyless entry is expected to be standard.
The 2021 Audi Q5 will come with a 2.0-litre 45 TFSI petrol engine that makes 245 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque.
