No other details have been revealed about the new Activa as of now, which means that it could be a seventh generation version of the scooter called Activa 7G, or it could also be a revamped version of the existing Activa 6G. However, we can see some subtle styling enhancements. The fully analog instrument cluster as seen on the Activa 6G could be replaced with a semi-digital unit, which was introduced with the previous-gen Activa 5G. Honda may go ahead and offer alloy wheels as an option on the new variant along with an optional front disc brake. As of now, the Activa 6G comes with drum brakes and steel wheels at both the ends as standard.
However, no changes are expected to the powertrain of the scooter. Powering the 2022 Honda Activa will likely be the same 110 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that produces 7.68 hp of power and 8.79 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a CVT automatic gearbox.
As of now, Honda sells the Active 6G in India in two variants – STD and DLX, which are priced at Rs 72,400 and Rs 74,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. However, the introduction of the new iteration may lead to a slight jump in its prices.
