2022 Hyundai Venue bookings cross 21,000; Diesel variant in demand

Hyundai has said that it has received over 21,000 bookings for the Venue facelift since the bookings were opened on June 3, 2022.

Hyundai has revealed that it is seeing some strong demand for the Venue facelift especially for the diesel model. At the time of launch, the carmaker had said that it had received around 15,000 bookings for its subcompact SUV, which has gone up to over 21,000 so far. The company has also revealed that almost a third of these bookings are for the diesel variant. Unlike its cousin, the Sonet, the Venue facelift diesel is limited to just three variants out of the six offered. Additionally, it is available only from the mid variant and the lower variant is available only with petrol engine options. The Hyundai figures also show that despite the move towards petrol, the SUV segment is still seeing demand for diesel engines.
