Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled its new logo last year with the introduction of the XUV700. The new logo was first seen on the XUV700 and has also made its way to other models like the new Scorpio N, Scorpio Classic and Bolero. and now 2022 Mahindra Tharo The host has been spied with the update at the dealer yard and the updated Thar is all set to launch soon, now it has been fully revealed by a YouTuber.

The front profile of the updated Mahindra Thar remains the same and the Thar gets black bumpers instead of a dual-tone unit. The headlamps, LED DRLs, turn indicators and Mahindra lettering above the grille remain the same.

Moving to the side, the updated one now gets a new logo on the alloy wheels and even the rear-mounted spare tire gets a new logo. Except for the new logo, the new Thar remains largely the same from the outside.

Talking about the interior, here again it remains the same except for minor changes. The steering wheel now gets a new logo and even the infotainment screen is woke up with an updated monogram.

The updated Thar also gets new switchgear in the center console and the buttons for traction control and hill descent control have been shifted from the panel near the door to the center console. And now, the door lock/unlock button has been installed on the center console.

The Rocky Beige and Mystic Copper shades have been discontinued. The updated Thar is now available in four exterior colours: Napoli Black, Galaxy Grey, Aqua Marine and Red Rage.

Coming to the engine, the Thar gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 150 Bhp and 300 Nm (MT) / 320 Nm (AT) and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 130 Bhp and 300 Nm. does. Both the engines are available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Mahindra is also getting ready to unveil its new electric SUV, the XUV400. The company recently confirmed the launch of its first fully electric car in the Indian market and the company released a new teaser video that confirms that the EV will be launched in India. 8 September.

The company also recently unveiled its upcoming five electric SUV concepts based on Mahindra’s new INGLO EV platform. Models based on these concepts will be sold through two sub-brands, XUV.e and BE. The XUV.e range will include the XUV.e8 (electric XUV700) and XUV.e9 coupe SUVs and the BE model lineup will include the BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09.
