Mahindra Lux has confirmed its plans to update XUV300 Sub-compact SUV very soon. The company has released a teaser of the upcoming 2022 XUV300, which has indicated that it will be offered with a new and more powerful turbo-petrol engine, and will also have some design updates on the outgoing model.
The official teaser released by the company says “0 – Thrill in the blink of an eye”, which means that the updated XUV300 Facelift It can be equipped with a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 130 PS of maximum power and 230 Nm of peak torque. This new engine will make the XUV300 the most powerful subcompact SUV in the country.
Also on offer will be the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as before, which produces 115 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT with both the engines.
The teaser reveals the front fascia of the 2022 XUV300, confirming that the SUV will now be equipped with Mahindra’s new twin-peak logo like the XUV700, Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic. Other than this, New XUV300 Will also be offered with new diamond-cut alloy wheels, which could be 17-inch in size.
The 2022 XUV300 facelift is expected to be launched in the Indian market during this festive season. Upon arrival, the Mahindra SUV will continue to take on the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Urban Cruiser as well as the Renault Kiger.
