The 2022 MG ZS EV is all set to launch later today. While the all-electric crossover-SUV was first introduced in the country in January 2020, the EV is now due for a proper mid-life facelift. The new ZS EV will borrow some elements from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart MG Astor, which was launched a few months back, and will also get MG’s new iSmart UI with 75+ features, Hindi-English voice commands, and more. 10.1 inch touchscreen.

The interiors of the new MG ZS EV have also received a makeover, and now offer better creature comforts
New 2022 MG ZS EV Recently it was also displayed through some images. While not much was revealed about what changes will be made in the upcoming update, the images showed redesigned LED headlamps, new LED daytime running lamps and new 17-inch alloy wheels. While the rear end of the car was not revealed, MG has revealed that the car will get new LED taillamps and a redesigned rear bumper.

MG ZS EV will come with a new set of 17-inch alloys
The outgoing MG ZS EV was priced between ₹ 20.99 Lakh to ₹ 24.18 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and was on offer with 2 variants. MG Motor India is yet to reveal the pricing of its crossover-SUV, but we feel that the starting price could be slightly lower than the outgoing model, thanks to the car being completely made in India.

We may also see an extended range variant of the car with a bigger battery, and if offered, the longer range variant will cost more than the others. We expect sales of the car to start at ₹20 lakh, while the more premium and longer range variants can go up to around ₹25 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
