Skoda Auto has revealed the 2022 Karoq facelift for the global markets. The updated model comes with a more refined design language, new technology and more efficient engine from the EVO generation.

The 2022 Skoda Karoq facelift now gets a wider, hexagonal Skoda grille with slimmer full-LED Matrix headlights
Skoda will offer the updated Karoq in three trims – Active, Ambition and Style, and there will also be a Sportline variant. The facelifted Skoda Karoq now sports a wider signature-style hexagonal grille that gives it a more rough look. It also gets slimmer full-LED Matrix headlights with redesigned DRLs, which have now been split in two, further enhancing the dynamic look of the SUV. The SUV also gets new 19-inch silver sagittarius alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV gets full LED taillights with dynamic indicators, new rear bumper, an extended body-coloured spoiler, and more. It also retains the centrally mounted koda lettering like all new koda cars.
In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Karoq measures 4,390 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,624 mm in height. The front-wheel-drive has a wheelbase of 2,638 mm, while the all-wheel-drive version has a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.

From the inside, the SUV is very similar to the outgoing model and gets a fresh look with subtle updates. It gets an optional Eco Pack, improved LED ambient lighting, new decorative strips on the instrument panel and door trims and more. The front passenger seat can now be adjusted electrically as well. There is also an 8-inch standard instrument cluster with an option to upgrade to a larger 10.25-inch unit. It also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is upgradeable to a larger 9.2-inch system, supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with wireless SmartLink technology. The system also sports Laura’s digital voice assistant which is compatible with 15 languages.
The 2022 Skoda Karoq facelift comes with a choice of 5 engines, which includes 3 petrol.

Under the hood, the Skoda Karoq comes with a range of petrol and diesel engine options. These include 108 bhp 1.0-litre TSI EVO, 148 bhp 1.5-litre TSI EVO, 187bhp 2.0-litre TSI EVO, 114 bhp 2.0-litre TDI EVO and 148 bhp 2.0-litre TDI EVO. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG. The company offers a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 187 bhp exclusively in the Sportline in combination with a 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive.
