Toyota Hilux moniker officially coming to India for the first time
Toyota Kirloskar Motors is all set to launch the Hilux pick-up SUV in India on January 20, 2021. The Hilux is based on the same platform as the Toyota Fortuner and is expected to come with the same 2.8-litre diesel engine that was offered in it. Both 4×2 and 4×4 options. While Hilux has a strong presence globally, it is officially coming to India for the first time and will take on rivals like the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
