BMW Group has refreshed its best-selling model BMW 3 Series With a sharper design, revised interior, and carrying the same power plants for 2023. Along with changes to the front and rear sections of the 2023 BMW 3 Series, the premium executive sedan also features a new curved display paired with the latest BMW Operating System 8. The new BMW 3 Series will be produced at the BMW Group Plant in Munich, as well as at the BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi in Mexico. We expect BMW India to bring the refreshed 3 Series to our shores next year, probably by early or mid 2023.

2023 BMW 3 Series Interior
The interior of the 2023 BMW 3 Series sedan is treated with a comprehensive update, including a new standard-fit BMW Curved Display with a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a control display with a screen diagonal of 14.9-inch. Simultaneously in one fully digital and high-resolution unit. The gear selector lever also has a new design and is located in the control panel on the center console along with the start/stop button, iDrive controller, Driving Experience control button, parking brake and other vehicle functions. An automatic climate control system with three-zone adjustment is fitted as standards and can be operated by voice command or touch via the display. Other new additions to standard specifications include an automatically dimmed rear-view mirror, expanded storage package and Park Distance Control (PDC) with front and rear sensors. All models now come with the BMW Live Cockpit Plus which also includes the BMW Maps navigation system.

2023 BMW 3 Series Engine
The heart of the 2023 BMW 3 Series retains the powertrain from the predecessor, and hence, you get the base 330i with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that develops 255 bhp, then there’s a 330e plug-in hybrid with 288 bhp . The M340i makes 382 bhp with BMW’s turbocharged 3.0-litre I6. The BMW 330e and BMW M340i are available with the automaker’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system, and for 2023, 18-inch wheels are standard. All engines of the new BMW 3 Series are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission as standard. BMW xDrive is standard on the range-topping model.
