The first part of the Union Budget session will have 10 sittings from January 31 to February 11, while the second part will have 19 sittings from March 14 to April 8. The budget for 2022-23 will be presented in the Lok Sabha on the second day. The House and a copy thereof will be laid shortly in the Rajya Sabha by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Sources told News18 that a total of 79 hours and 30 minutes have been allotted to discuss the legislative work of the government and issues of immediate concern. He said that the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President and the first part of the General Budget Session are the main tasks.
