“Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there has been a significant delay in the arrival of important team baggage at St. Trinidad, Consequently, today’s second Gold Medal T20 Cup match is scheduled to begin at 12.30 PM (10 PM IST),” CWI said in a statement.

Typically, short ATR flights operate between Caribbean countries, and therefore, unlike normal commercial airlines, which also carry players’ heavy-duty cricket coffins, these aircraft do not have the same capability.
Delays in transporting kits from one nation (Trinidad and Tobago) to another (St Kitts and Nevis) are very common in the Caribbean, but delaying a match because of this is a first for CWI.
