According to the central government, five Kashmiri Pandits have been murdered in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019.
The Center on Wednesday told Parliament that no Kashmiri Pandit has reportedly migrated from the Valley since August 2019.
The Union government on Wednesday told Parliament that 118 civilians, including five Kashmiri Pandits, have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai told the House that apart from five Kashmiri Pandits, 16 Hindus and Sikhs were killed in Jammu and Kashmir. MoS Nityanand Rai said there has been a substantial decline in terrorist attacks in the last three years.
According to the Centre, there were 417 terror attacks in 2018 while there were 229 terror attacks in 2021.

“From August 5, 2019 to July 9, 2022, 128 security force personnel and 118 civilians were killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Of the 118 civilians killed, five were Kashmiri Pandits and 16 others belonged to Hindu and Sikh communities,” MoS Nityanand Rai said.
The central government said that 5,502 Kashmiri Pandits have been provided jobs in various departments of the Jammu and Kashmir government in the Valley and since August 2019, no Kashmiri Pandit has migrated from the Valley.
The Center also told Parliament that no pilgrim has been killed since 2019.
