The Airports Authority of India celebrated the 76th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and fervor, showing its commitment towards the development of airport infrastructure in the country. On this occasion, Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Sanjeev Kumar unfurled the National Flag at the Delhi Air Traffic Service Complex in the presence of senior officers and other staff members. The ceremony was carried out in a suitable manner with the norms set for the gathering. A joint team of fire crew and CISF personnel presented a guard of honour. The Chairman highlighted the future expansion plans to increase the airport infrastructure and air connectivity in the country. The Airports Authority of India is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence by hoisting the National Flag at all its airports. Many of its airports are decorated with special tricolor decorative lights for the pleasure of their guests. Rangoli and balloon decorations are also done at airports to mark the occasion of Independence Day.
