Dance Meri Rani OUT: Nora Fatehi’s dance steps in Guru Randhawa’s song will open your jaws
Nora Fatehi is back with her sizzling dance steps in the recently released song- ‘Dance Meri Rani’. Sung by Punjabi singers Guru Randhawa and Zahra S Khan, the song is a composition by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics penned by Rashmi Virag. The upbeat track directed by Bosco Leslie Martis features the actress in a gorgeous mermaid avatar and was released today by the makers. The song was announced by both Nora and Guru on Instagram. Sharing the post, Guru wrote, “We are back with another sizzling dance number #DanceMeriRani! So put on your party shoes! Sing now, tune in.” Nora captioned it, “It’s out! #dancemerirani link in bio!”
The song is the second collaboration between the two artists as they were earlier seen together in the song ‘Nach Meri Rani’. The song begins with Nora in a mermaid dress sitting on the beach. Soon she is discovered by a master who touches her and turns her into a woman.
What caught the attention of many was that Nora resembled Shakira in one of her looks, which was from her iconic songs Hips Don’t Lie and Where Where.
Some of his African fans also praised him for trying out African dance steps. One person wrote, “As an African who loves Indian music and movies, as most Africans do, I find Nora very fond of incorporating and introducing African dance or even music to India. Feels proud. It makes me so happy. Nora keep spreading the love, I will always root for you.” While another said, “Another wrote, “I love Afro inspired dance. Nora killed it as usual.”

The makers revealed in a statement that Nora who is quite dedicated to her art had to be carried on a stretcher on the sets as she was confined in her mermaid outfit which restricted her movements.
