All the letters of the word Google are wearing masks. Post the word Google, four bottles of vaccination are laid out on a table. The last letter of the word Google ‘E’ vaccinates the letter (L) next to it. And all the letters cheer hit do a jig A floating heart also appears on the screen.
There is also a share button to allow users to share this important message via Facebook, Twitter or Mail. Clicking on a Google Doodle takes users to a page that states that everyone 15 years of age and older is eligible to receive a vaccine against COVID-19. Below is the coin.gov.in link. It asks users to register on the government’s Coin platform to receive their vaccines. This is followed by Google Maps which lists the nearest vaccine centers according to the user’s location. It also gives information such as whether the COVID-19 vaccination center is allowing walk-in or requiring registration. The information listed on the page also provides the addresses of these vaccination centres, including phone numbers for some centres.
With effect from 3 January 2022, the government has expanded the COVID-19 vaccination campaign for children in the age group of 15 to 18 years. Precautionary/booster doses have also started for all citizens above 60 years of age from January 10.
