UGC NET December 2020, June 2021 Result Date, Expected Cut-Off

National Testing Agency (NTA) likely to announce the result of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2020 and June 2021 session by the end of January. However, the agency has not yet made any official confirmation. Once released, the results will be available on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Before Covid-19, NTA used to announce the results of UGC NET usually within a month or less. Students are now urging the officials to declare the result immediately. In 2021, UGC NET was conducted from November 20 to December 5. At some places, the exam was postponed due to the cyclone, but later it was held between December 24 and 30. NTA had merged the two efforts last year – December 2020 and June 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exam had ended on September 29 and the results were declared on December 1 of the same year. The December 2019 exam concluded on 6 December and the result was released on 31 December in less than a month, while the June 2019 exam ended on 28 June and the results were declared on 15 July.

NTA has already released the answer key and candidates were allowed to raise objections so the result is expected to be released soon. This time around 12.67 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. The exam lasted for three hours in two shifts. It was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
