Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman said ahead of Monday’s home match against Granada that he is not worried about his future despite criticism following Bayern Munich’s Champions League defeat last week. The 58-year-old coach said, ‘Thinking about the game, thinking about the team is one thing. Rest of the things are not in my hands. Barcelona were beaten 3-0 by Bayern in last Tuesday’s group stage match, with Koeman’s side failing to register a single shot on target in 90 minutes.

In LaLiga, the Catalan club is ranked 10th, six points behind leaders and arch-rivals Real Madrid. But Barcelona have two games in hand, and Koeman was confident his injury-stricken team would get back on track.

“So I’m calm, I’m confident that we’re going to win games like we did at the start of the season. We’ve got seven points from three games, so there’s still a lot of games left.

“I know, in the end, results matter and nothing else. And I have no fear for my future. Ultimately the president decides on behalf of the club.”

Barcelona will be without Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite, Pedri, Jordi Alba, Sergio Aguero and Anu Fati for Monday’s match.
