Taking his statement further, he said that aspiring candidates will not even have to score exemplary marks to overcome the competition in class 12 board exams.
The Chairman said, “We have written to the Vice Chancellors, Directors, Principals of all State Universities, Private Universities, Universities and Colleges to use CUET scores for admission to UG programs from the academic session 2022-23 in all UGC National Tests. Central University funded by the Agency (NTA) in 13 Indian languages.”

In a letter to state universities, the chairman wrote, “Many state universities, deemed universities, private universities and other higher educational institutions (HEIs) in the country also use 12th board marks or conduct entrance exams for admissions.” UG programs.”
“In order to avoid students from appearing in multiple entrance examinations held on different dates, sometimes coinciding with each other, and to provide equal opportunities to all students of different Boards,” the letter said. , UGC invites and encourages all State Universities. Universities, Private Universities and other HEIs to adopt and use CUET scores from 2022-23 for admission of students in their UG programmes.”
NTA in its notice has mentioned, “CUET (UG) – 2022 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will be of objective type with multiple choice questions. The exam will consist of four sections which are Section IA – 13. Languages, Section IB – 20 Languages, Section II – 27 Domain-Specific Subjects, Section III – General Examination Candidates.”
As per the NTA notice, candidates will be able to register online for CUET exam from April 2, 2022.
NTA also advises the candidates to visit the official website of NTA CUET (UG)-2022 (https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/) available from April 2, 2022 for latest updates regarding the examination.
