Snapchat developer Snap has introduced a new ASL Alphabet lens that offers its users a unique learning experience for American Sign Language. According to The Verge, it’s called ASL Alphabet Lens, and it’s launched in partnership with Signall, a company that uses the technology to translate sign language. With the help of Signall’s artificial intelligence technology, Snapchat recognizes the hand gestures of its users. Users can now not only learn finger spelling of their name using different letters, but can also practice the ASL alphabet and play two games to test their knowledge. Snapchat previously launched stickers and AR lenses with Signall for International Week of the Deaf in September.
