What a day! After a long, long wait, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor finally said ‘I do’. The couple got married this afternoon at home in the presence of close friends and family members. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were in festive attire. Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain and others were also dressed in lavish ethnic clothes at the couple’s wedding.

Alia took the contemporary route and looked stunning in an ivory-gold saree designed by Sabyasachi, The actress wore a hand-dyed ivory organza sari with fine sesame work and an embroidered hand-woven tissue veil. She paired it with Sabyasachi Heritage jewelery which features uncut diamonds and hand-picked pearls.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor wore a silk sherwani with embroidery, silk organza safa and a shawl with zari marori embroidery with uncut diamond buttons from Sabyasachi.

Kareena Kapoor wore a Manish Malhotra sari at her brother Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. The organza drape had a heavily embroidered border and came with a stylish sleeveless blouse.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who has produced Ranbir and Alia’s upcoming film Brahmastra, was as handsome as ever when it came to the pink kurta sets. Her outfit, designed by Manish Malhotra, was replete with intricate thread embroidery and beautiful mirror embellishments.

The groom’s mother Neetu Kapoor adopted a riot of colors. She opted for a traditional lehenga set that featured a bright-pink bandhani skirt and a colorful choli. With a mustard colored dupatta and multicolored border, she completed her outfit.

Pooja Bhatt wore an ivory ethnic ensemble with golden foil print detailing throughout. She accessorised her look with a golden kada. She also carried a matching handbag with her outfit. Her makeup was subtle, just nude lipstick, mascara and kohl-rimmed eyes. She was looking absolutely stunning.
At the same time, the bride’s father Mahesh Bhatt was wearing an embroidered kurta and pajama. Both smiled at the paparazzi waiting outside.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wore a beige-gold lehenga from the label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. It was full of gleaming silver and gold ornaments. It was also specially hand-embroidered with gold mirror zardozi work. Her ensemble featured an embellished concept blouse that was further accentuated with cascading crystal droppings and tassels. She wore a cape stole to round off her outfit.
