Chicken Tenders, also known as Chicken Fingers, is a famous entrée dish that is enjoyed with sauces and dips. This green tikka tender recipe re-imagines the classic dish and makes it more desi. Ginger, garlic and coriander-mint rule the flavor profile in the recipe, making this dish sound very close to home and almost like an Indian version of classic American chicken tenders. Juicy strips of chicken are marinated in a seasoning mixture and then coated with bread crumbs or popcorn kernels in an egg wash. How to make Green Tikka Tender Recipe
Chicken tenders are usually made from chicken breast meat, ideally with chicken strips. For the marinade, prepare a mixture of ginger-garlic, salt and pepper and add in other spices. Bring it to a semi-liquid consistency so that it coats the chicken strips evenly. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Dip the marinated chicken strips into the flour mixture, egg wash and then breadcrumbs respectively. Coat all the chicken pieces evenly and fry till golden brown.
