The first gay-transgender union in Kerala is now on the cards. Model Shruti Sithara, who won the Miss Transgender Global and Daya Gayatri titles, came out in public in a pioneering decision for the LGBTQ+ community in the state.
The two fell in love two years back but kept their love for each other in their hearts. Their love blossomed in all uncertain times. According to Shruti, this is a big step in her life.
“I was moving on after a major breakup. She was the support during that period. This love had turned into something more. We realized our love for each other. And now we are living together for a while. are,” she said.
She said that they are now officially telling everyone. They have not made any decision about marriage and aspires to be the best trans couple in the world and maybe raise a child one day.
