Sonu Nigam reacts to Ajay Devgn and Sudeep’s ongoing national language row – Times of India

Sonu Nigam recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities who have expressed their opinion on the ongoing Ajay Devgn And sudeep‘s National language queue.

Taking a jibe at the ongoing debate, Sonu said in a program that nowhere in the constitution it is written that Hindi is our national language. It may be the most spoken language, but not the national language. In fact, Tamil is the oldest language. There is a debate between Sanskrit and Tamil. But, people say that Tamil is the oldest language in the whole world.

The ace singer pointed out that there are enough issues that need to be resolved with other countries and it is pointless to start a new problem within the country.

Ajay Devgan had asked by tweeting in Hindi that if Hindi is not our national language then why does Kicha Sudeep release his dubbed films in Hindi. In response to the same, Sudeep replied that his words were misinterpreted. He wrote, ‘And sir, I understood the text you sent in Hindi. This is because we all have respected, loved and learned Hindi. no offense sir but was wondering what would be the situation if my response was typed Kannada, Aren’t we also from India, sir?”
