Ken Block’s Poirsche is a new one-off machine named the “Hoonipigasus”.

After a long 11-year stint, Ken Block has moved on from Ford and signed a deal with Audi last year. However, going forward, the Block will not be seen roaming around in the Audi, but will be seen behind the wheel of a Porsche. And as one would expect, it’s a bespoke model with a mid-mounted engine like the one we’ve seen in the Porsche 911 RSR. It is a new outright machine named “Hoonipigasus” and designed to impress in a special livery for the 1971 Porsche 917/20 “Pink Pig”.

The car has been remodeled by BBI Autosport and is engineered with a height-adjustable suspension.

It is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six, twin-turbo motor that belts out the manic 1,400 bhp and all this power is delivered to both axles in a typical race car that tips the scales at just 1,000 kg. The car has been revamped by BBI Autosport and is engineered with a height-adjustable suspension that uses GPS coordinates based on last year’s Pikes Peak telemetry. Hunipigasus will participate in Pikes Peak on June 26, and Ken Block will drive the Hardcore Coupe to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. 2022 is celebrating the 100th race of the PPIHC and the car will participate in the Pikes Peak Open (PPO).

0 notes

That said, Ken Block won’t be participating in Pikes Peak for the first time. He drove a Group N rally car in 2005 during his first year in racing. In 2017, he starred in the 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 in the movie ‘Climbkhana: Pikes Peak’.
