Tata Motors has rebranded the Tiago NRG facelift in Nepal as Tata NRG and prices start from NPR 33.75 Lakh.

Tata Motors has launched its cross-hatch Tiago NRG in Nepal. The carmaker has rebranded it as Tata NRG for the export market, and will be sold in Nepal through the company’s dealer partner, Sipardi Trading Pvt. Ltd. Prices of the new Tata NRG Cross-Hatch in Nepal start at NPR 33.75 Lakh, which is a little over Rs 21.16 Lakh, as per current exchange rates. Tata is positioning the NRG as the Urban Toughroader, and thus, it comes with a heavier outer shell, faux roof rails and new alloy wheels.

The NRG gets a muscular tailgate finish with black cladding, which houses the Tiago and NRG logos.

Tata is positioning the NRG as the Urban Toughroader, and thus, it comes with a heavier outer shell, faux roof rails and new alloy wheels. The car also has a ground clearance of 181 mm, which is slightly higher than the Tiago’s 170 mm. In Nepal, the car will be offered in 4 colors – Forest Green, Fire Red, Snow White and Cloudy Grey. In terms of features, the car comes with push start button, rear parking camera and auto fold ORVM.

Under the hood, the Tata Tiago NRG comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, borrowed from the Tiago. The motor develops 84 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional AMT unit.
