How to make Vrat Friendly Makhana Khichdi:

For further preparation, soak the makhanas in water for 10-15 minutes till they become soft. Boil the potatoes too. If you want, you can use raw potatoes instead and cook them with the recipe. First, fry cumin seeds, green chilies and peanuts in ghee. Add potatoes and makhana. Season with salt and red chili powder. Add a little amchur powder, cook everything together for about five minutes, and you’re done.
