Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee On Monday she said she does not support corruption and would not mind “if the convicts are given life imprisonment” following the arrest of Minister of State Partha Chatterjee in connection with an alleged school job scam.

Talking to reporters, he said, “We have full faith in the judiciary. There should be a time limit within which the truth and the court’s decision should come. If someone is found guilty, he must be punished. The party will also take action. But, I condemn the malicious campaign against me.”

Regarding Arpita Mukherjee, Partha Chatterjee’s “close associate” running at least 12 shell companies by the Enforcement Directorate, the Chief Minister said, “The truth should come out but within a time limit.
