In Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’ trouble, BJP member Subramanian Swamy decides to file a lawsuit; Says, ‘If he is a foreign national, we can ask him to be arrested’ – Times of India

Akshay Kumar is back in another brawl BJP Member Subramanyam Swami Filed a lawsuit against his upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’. Swamy is seeking compensation “for the damage caused due to falsification in the depiction of the Ram Setu issue in his film”. He wrote in a tweet, “The compensation suit has been finalized by my colleague Satya Sabharwal Ed. I thank Akshay Kumar, the actor and Karma Media for the damages caused due to falsification in the portrayal of the Ram Setu issue in his film for release. I’m suing.”

In another tweet, Subramanian Swamy also said that Akshay could be arrested and evicted from the country. “If actor Akshay Kumar is a foreign national, we can ask him to be arrested and evicted from his adopted country,” he wrote.

The ruling party leader mentioned that the compensation litigation has been finalized by his colleague Satya Sabharwal. Satya tweeted a poster and the Supreme Court order in the petition, “A film based on Ram Setu produced by Karma Media where the Supreme Court order of Dr. @swami39 was used as a poster A suit will be filed.”

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Ram Setu’ stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrat Bharucha and Satya Dev in lead roles and follows an archaeologist who sets out to investigate whether Ram Setu is reality or myth.
