Ek Villain Returns has garnered maximum business from the UP circuit, followed by the markets of Gujarat and Bihar. It remains to be seen how the film performs on weekdays. Interestingly, the weekend business of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ has surpassed the lifetime business of big releases like ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Attack’, ‘Jersey’ and ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film is a sequel to the 2014 thriller Ek Villain.
Arjun Kapoor’s character in ‘Ek Villain Returns’ has a bunch of tattoos and the actor wrote a note about the same social media. Sharing a glimpse of his tattooed body, Arjun wrote, “I got to see such crazy tattoos that define my character and personality in the film. Getting inked has a different meaning for everyone, for me it was always about imprinting a part of your soul on your body. With this film, I can safely say that I have reconnected with my love of body art and I thank Mohit Suri for covering him with tattoos that I will cherish forever. I already have 3 tattoos. Maybe time to get 1 more.”
