IIT Patna is all set to launch six new academic programs in line with the national education Policy (NEP-2020). The new programs are commencing with three academic programs in the Computer Science stream and three academic programs in the Business Management stream.
The three-year UG program is designed for the aspirations of school (10+2) pass outs who have dreamed of IIT quality education but just missed out on JEE (Advanced). “There are several channels for admission to these new programs of study, viz; JEE Main, CUCET, SAT (US), NTSE, KVPY, INSPIRE, State Level Admission and a valid score of IITP-SAT. Out of three year UG programs Each is designed to provide skills in demand by industry and employers across the globe,” reads the press release issued by IIT Patna.
The latter course structure is aligned with the requirement of professional body framework course structure like ICAI, ICSE, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, NSE etc. Hybrid mode of instruction is another unique feature to enable day scholars of any other program (eg B.Tech.) with an optional opportunity to enhance their skills simultaneously without any hassle, added the release Gone.

250 students will be admitted in each program of both the streams, the total admission will be up to 1500. The semester fee for Computer Science program and Management program will be Rs.40,000 and Rs.50,000 respectively.
On successful completion of the three-year degree programme, candidates will be accorded the status of IITP alumni. However, the opportunity of entry and exit scope exists every year with the opportunity to re-enter later with credit bank facility.
