Massive protests broke out in Chandigarh University campus after midnight. This happened after the video of about 60 girls bathing in the hostel was leaked. Hundreds of students protested on the campus after talks with the authorities failed. Police reached the spot and arrested a student, who had allegedly made this video and sent it to a boy in Shimla. A case has been registered against the accused girl. The accused is an MBA first year student. SSP Mohali refuted the reports saying that there has been no incident of suicide attempt after the videos of the girls were leaked. Punjab Minister, State Commission for Women has assured that the guilty will not be spared.
