Karthik reprimanded for violating IPL code of conduct

Kolkata-Knight Riders wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has been reprimanded for breaching the Indian Premier League’s code of conduct during his team’s second qualifier against Delhi Capitals, which they won by three wickets here.

Karthik on his part accepted a level of crime and accepted the punishment as well.

A statement issued by the IPL here on October 13 said, “Kolkata Knight Riders wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has been arrested for breach of IPL code of conduct during his team’s Qualifier 2 against Delhi Capitals in Sharjah on Wednesday, 13 October. Reprimanded.” Night.

“Mr. Karthik committed a Level 1 offense 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction. For a Level 1 breach of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the match referee is final and binding.”
