Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena candidate Murji Patel Filed nomination for Andheri East by-election on Friday.
Friday is the last day for filing nominations. The elections will be held on November 3.

Union Minister Narayan Rane also joined the procession, while his son and Kankavli assembly constituency MLA Nitesh Rane also joined. MLC Praveen Darekar also attended.
Shelar termed Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) as “Radki Sena” (Weeping Army).
He said, “While in government they used to cry in the name of the Centre, in opposition they used to cry in the name of the court and sometimes the Election Commission of India (ECI). Blame it,” he said. ,
Shelar alleged that Anil Parab of Thackeray Sena had to arrange for party workers from Bandra to Dahisar to show his strength.
“In our case it is a flood of local residents. Murji Patel will win the election with a margin of over 25,000 votes,” Shelar said.
Pointing to Patel’s popularity, Kesarkar noticed that women were addressing their candidate as “Murji Kaka” and local citizens stood on the street cheering Patel.
He said Thackeray Sena candidate rutuja hangingThe resignation drama was nothing but an attempt to gain sympathy.
The procession which started from BMC ground in Sher-e-Punjab goes through Nelco Signal, Holy Family School, Hotel Sai Palace Junction, Andheri-Kurla Road, Gurunanak Petrol Pump Western Express Highway to BMC School.
