Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s stake increased in this portfolio of Tata Group

As per the recent shareholding pattern on BSE, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, wife of late Indian veteran investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwalahas increased its stake to 1.61% or 45,75,687 shares during the three-month period July-September 2022, as compared to 1.08% equity or 30,75,687 shares in the previous quarter of June 2022.

Indian conglomerate Tata Communications Limited, part of the Tata Group, is an Indian telecommunications company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and has a presence in over 200 countries and territories around the world. Shares of Tata Communications are down nearly 20% in the one-year period while the stock of Tata Group is down over 18% so far in 2022 (YTD).

Stock investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, popularly known as the ‘Big Bull’ and ‘Warren Buffett of India’, passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 62 on the notice of cardiac arrest. went on to manage Rare Enterprises, a stock trading firm.

His privately owned stock trading firm Rare Enterprises takes its name from his first two initials and his wife Rekha, whom he married in 1987, who is also a stock market investor. Rekha Jhunjhunwala publicly holds 19 stocks with a net worth of more 10,414.8 crores as per trendline.

Meanwhile, Rekha Jhunjhunwala has also slightly increased her stake in another portfolio stock NCC Ltd to 12.64% during the quarter under review as against 12.62% in the April-June period. NCC has a diversified business portfolio in infrastructure and construction sector with business verticals in buildings and housing, roads, railways, power, metals and mining.
