P. Joshua leads the authorities in paying tribute to his fallen allies
Superintendent of Police P. Joshua assured all possible help to the family members of the police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Participating in the Police Martyrs Memorial Day program at Krishna District Police Headquarters on Friday, the SP said that the country will never forget the sacrifice of the police.
“He laid down his life to give us a peaceful life,” said Mr. Joshua. He inquired about the well being of the families of the martyrs.
Later, the SP along with other officers including Additional SP N Venkata Ramanjaneyulu, Special Enforcement Bureau ASP Asma Farheen, Armed Reserve ASP SVD Prasad, DSP paid floral tributes and paid tribute at the martyr’s memorial.
The officers read out the names of 264 policemen who were martyred while discharging their duties across the country. He observed two minutes silence and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.
“Police duty has become challenging. The police department will support the bereaved families and take measures to get all the benefits from the government,” said Mr. Ramanjaneyulu.
