Nokia 2780 Flip gets KaiOS support and a Qualcomm chip
Nokia’s new flip phone has been upgraded with new features like USB-C charging support, KaiOS platform and dual screen.
Nokia has launched its new flip phone in the market, and the latest model has several changes that can make it more attractive for the buyers. The Nokia 2780 Flip is the successor to the Nokia 2760 Flip which is widely available including in India. As far as the new version is concerned, it runs on the KaiOS platform, which means you get support for WhatsApp. It also has dual screens and is powered by a Qualcomm chip.

The Nokia 2780 Flip phone is priced at $89.99 (approximately Rs 7,320) and will go on sale in the US from November 17. We still don’t know whether this device will come to India or not.

Features of Nokia 2780 Flip Phone
The latest Nokia flip phone has a display on the inside and outside, where you have 2.7-inch and 1.77-inch screens respectively. It has a 5 megapixel camera at the back with a flashlight. For connectivity, it also has Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS and a headphone jack. You can charge the phone through the USB-C charging port.
Nokia is powering the phone using the Qualcomm 215 platform with 4GB of RAM and expandable storage up to 32GB. The device runs on the KaiOS platform which allows you to access WhatsApp and other apps.
You can use your regular GSM SIM on this phone which will provide 4G connectivity to the users. It also has FM radio, a microSD card slot for expansion, and support for up to 1000 contacts in the phonebook. And yes, Nokia has packed a 1,450mAh removable battery unit that will last you for days.
