Relatives of actress Tunisha Sharma on Sunday said that her co-star Sheezaan Mohammed Khan, an accused in her alleged suicide case, was in touch with several girls when he was in a relationship with them.
Tunisha Sharma’s maternal uncle Pawan Sharma said that the family members are in deep shock after the incident.
Pawan said, “We cannot believe that Tunisha is no more. She used to live with her mother in Indraprastha building on Mira Road. She used to watch everything. I have full faith in the police. Whoever is the accused should be punished.” Must meet.” Sharma told ANI.
“Even after being in a relationship and living with Tunisha, Sheezaan used to be in touch with many girls. This made Tunisha tense and went into depression. On December 16, Tunisha came to know that Sheezaan was cheating on her And after that he had an anxiety attack. Tunisha’s mother also spoke to Sheezan and asked him why he came so close and then suddenly left Tunisha when he was not serious. It was not right,” he said.
Pawan Sharma further told that the last rites of actress Tunisha Sharma will be performed on December 27 in Mira Road area.
The Valiv police on Sunday said that the actor’s postmortem report has given the cause of death as ‘hanging’.
Meanwhile, the police have so far recorded statements of 14 people in the Tunisha Sharma death case.
“Tunisha Sharma worked as an actress in a TV show. Tunisha and Sheezan Khan had an affair. They had a break-up 15 days ago, after which she committed suicide on the sets of her show,” Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav said during a press conference here.
The ACP further said: “Tunisha’s mother lodged a complaint and accused Sheejan was arrested and later produced before the court, which sent him to judicial custody for four days. The postmortem report clearly shows the cause of death.” The reason given is hanging. Hanged from the strap.”
A case of abetment to suicide was registered against Sheezan under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code after his ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul’ co-star was found dead on the sets of the show.
On Sunday, the officials took him from Valiv police station to Vasai court.
In the court, Sheezan’s lawyer Sharad Rai while talking to the media said, “He (Sheezan Khan) was produced in the court. The allegations against him are baseless.”
Stating that the matter is under investigation, ACP Jadhav further clarified that no other angle of love jihad or blackmailing has come to the fore so far.
ACP Siad said, “Investigation is underway. Phones of accused Sheejan and Tunisha have been seized. So far there is no angle of any other case, blackmailing or ‘love jihad’.”
Tunisha, who has also appeared in Bollywood films like ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’ and ‘Dabangg 3’, was found dead on the sets of a TV serial.
According to Valiv police, they received information that the actress had gone to the toilet after tea break and when she did not return, the police broke open the door and found that she had hanged herself.
No suicide note has been recovered on the spot.
Police said the reason behind Tunisha’s alleged extreme step was her break-up with Sheejan a fortnight ago.
Tunisha’s body was brought to JJ Hospital Naigaon at around 1.30 pm on Sunday, where her post-mortem was done.
