Rome: Torino made a late comeback from Genoa on Friday to register their first win in more than a month in Serie A with a 3-2 win.
Antonio Sanabria and Tommaso Pobega gave Torino a 2–0 advantage at the break before Mattia Destro pulled back once for Genoa.
Josip Braccalo then restored a two-goal advantage to Torino, but Felipe Cassado responded quickly to set up a tense 10 minute final for Genoa.
Torino moved up to 10th place, while Genoa remained in the drop zone, jeopardizing the job of coach David Ballardinis.
In addition, Antonio Candreva scored one goal and contributed to the second with a free kick, which resulted in the same goal as Sampdoria defeated Spezia 2–1 to finish 13th.
