The Dhaba named ‘Doggy Dhaba’ has been opened by a couple from Indore. Dhaba offers a lot more to the dogs than just food. It also offers lodging and birthday parties, which include customized cakes, boarding services, and more. Like all eateries, this dhaba also provides home food delivery service. An ANI report quoted owner Balraj Jhala as saying, “My business also runs online. Dog food delivery boys are also hired who supply food both the times.”

According to the report, Balraj Jha is a dog lover and runs this unique dhaba along with his wife. During the lockdown period, Jha saw how dogs were struggling to find good food, and came up with the idea of opening a special restaurant for them. Jha revealed, “I have been a dog lover since the beginning. I used to work in a hotel till 2019, from where I used to feed dogs while returning home at night.”

The dhabas served everything from basic meals to veg and non-veg specialties and supplements, and regular dog food ranged from Rs 7 to 500 per day.
The dhaba also gives the dogs an opportunity to exercise, play and be social!
