Praxis Business School organizes 15th Convocation for PGDM students

Pramath Raj Sinha, a renowned entrepreneur and educationist, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Execution Business The school held its 15th convocation for the PGDM class of 2023 on 7th April. A total of 66 students were awarded AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Pramath Raj Sinha, who is a renowned entrepreneur and educationist, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Sinha’s career has been full of ups and downs. As an educationist, he was the founder and president of Harappan Education; Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Ashoka University; Founder Dean and Member of the Executive Board of the Indian School of Business.

He has played a significant role in shaping the higher education scenario of India. Prior to his academic entry, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, served as the CEO of ABP News, and was also the Managing Director of CNBC-TV18. He has a PhD and MS from the University of Pennsylvania and BTech from IIT Kanpur.

Kamlesh Sajnani, Chairman of the Board of Governors at Praxis Business School, declared the convocation open followed by an inspirational speech.

Dr. Prithvi Mukherjee, Director, Praxis Business School gave the report. The highlights of the speech were the impressive volume of research publications by Praxis faculty and 99 per cent placement achievement by the students. After this, Professor Dr. Sourav Saha, Dean Academics conducted the graduation ceremony. Sajnani handed over the degrees to the newly appointed PGDM graduates.

Sinha’s inspirational speech was the main attraction of the evening. Using personal anecdotes, he told the students how qualities like humility, empathy, responsibility, dedication, honesty and willingness to serve mark a person for success.

Professor Charanpreet Singh, Founder and Director, Praxis Business School Foundation, delivered the concluding remarks and proposed the vote of thanks. He also advised the students to conduct themselves with dignity and build their own brand in the corporate world.
