The opposition in Kerala today hit out at the ruling Left parties after a CP(I)M leader accused his daughter of forcibly separating her newborn child from her. Accusing the ruling Left of systemic lapse and party’s conspiracy in the matter, the Opposition staged a walkout with the Leader of the Opposition alleging that the party has been given a free hand in taking important decisions. Health, Women and Child Welfare Minister Veena George, however, denied all the allegations.
Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan alleged, before walking on foot, “You are all leftists but your response in this matter has been absolutely right. It has been very conservative. It is a conspiracy. It is not a crime. It is a set of crimes. series.” -Outside.
