Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2021 has declared the results of the first round of counseling. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021. Those who had registered for admission to engineering colleges across India, including IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions, can check their results at josaa.nic.in.
Those who have made it to the first round of counseling will have to go through a few more steps, which include – freeze or float the allotted seat, pay the admission fee to reserve the seat, report to the allotted college and check their status. Verifying documents.

Candidates who want to accept the seat allotted to them have to report online and upload the required documents along with paying the fee. The last date for submission of fees is October 30.

The second allotment for JoSAA counseling will be released by November 1. A total of six counseling sessions will be conducted. The entire counseling process will be over by November 20. Candidates are allowed to opt out of the seat allotment process which starts from the second round till the fifth round of seat allotment. Candidates can also float their allotted seats till round 6 as it will be the last round for admission.
