On the occasion of National Technology Day, news agency ANI asked experts about the interest in this segment and the disruptions we are facing.

We believe that GAI has more opportunities than risks and we still need to harness its true potential to improve our productivity, ingenuity, creativity, efficiency and communication. He added that according to Accenture’s estimates, 40 percent of all working hours will be supported or augmented by language-based AI.
Vik Gupta said that the world has witnessed the tremendous growth of Generative AI and ChatGPT has turned AI into one of the hottest technology trends of the year.
ChatGPT can also help content creators for a variety of purposes, including brainstorming, providing inspiration, or creating drafts for articles, blog posts, or social media content. It can also answer questions, provide clarification or engage in interactive conversations with users.
Sundar Balasubramanian, Managing Director, India and SAARC, Check Point Software Technologies, said, “Generative AI-based capabilities have been around for a while, though ChatGPT has taken center stage recently. As such generative AI is a double-edged sword.”
While this could help developers write and fix code more quickly, enable better chat services for companies, or even change search engines, the Check Point MD said it could be used by hackers.
