Police in Lancashire, UK, have successfully captured an escaped goat that caused a traffic jam. Police confirmed on their Facebook page that the goat was captured after a chase through traffic. The goat is named Houdini after the American escape artist. According to the police’s Facebook page, the animal was captured after a few “head butts”. The goat is seen scared in the picture posted on Facebook by the police. It has been sent to Animal Rescue Service Wolfwood.
Lancaster Police said on Facebook: “After a lengthy search down Bowerham and Wiersdale Road, causing traffic chaos, we are relieved to say we have captured the boyish goat we have lovingly named Houdini “
He added, “He’s got a few butts, but it’s safely away for the amazingly wonderful Wolfwood. Humble thanks to him and the equally fab gent at The Ashton for safely transporting Houdini.”

The outlet said the animal was first seen at the Lancaster Auction Mart car park on Quernmore Road near the cemetery.
A few days ago, police in New Jersey in the United States posted on Facebook that they were looking for a “peeping goat” in Chatham Township. The goat was seen roaming in the township and peeping into the houses.
Chatham Township police asked residents to resist any urges to capture the animal if they see it. “If he shows up at your door, please don’t try to apprehend him. Please call CTPD for assistance,” police said in a Facebook post.
