GBSHSE Goa SSC Result: Class 10 results declared, 96.6% students pass

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the SSC or Class 10 exam results today. Goa Board SSC result can be checked at results.gbshsegoa.net and gbshse.in using seat number, school index number and date of birth. The pass percentage in Goa Board SSC result this year is 96.6 per cent, which is better than last year’s 92.7 per cent. There has been an increase of 3.9 percentage points in the pass percentage since 2022.

While the pass percentage of boys is 96.3 per cent, the pass percentage of girls is 96.9 per cent. A total of 20,476 students registered for the Goa SSC exam, out of which 10,074 are girls and 10,402 are boys.

The result was released in a press conference. The press conference was held at Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Directorate of Education, Porvorim Goa.

The GBSHSE Goa SSC Board Exam 2023 was conducted in two terms, first term from 10th November to 29th November 2022 and second term from 1st April to 24th April 31st. Apart from this, there will be a consolidated result sheet on May 22 from 9 am onwards. Available for download through school login. To submit the mark sheet, candidates can visit any one of the four designated centers – Mapusa, Bicholim, Margao or Ponda.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has set the minimum passing marks for the Goa SSC Result 2023. As per the guidelines of the board, students need to obtain at least 35 percent of the total marks to pass the exam. Students who fail to meet this minimum requirement will not be considered eligible and will have to appear for compartment exams.

Last year, it was observed that 93.9 per cent girls and 91.6 per cent boys passed the exam successfully. Moreover, 50 percent of SSC students score between 60 percent to 80 percent in the Goa Class 10 exam.
