Ram temple construction has opened doors of many possibilities for Ayodhya: Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the construction of a grand Ram temple has opened doors of many possibilities for Ayodhya. Speaking to media persons on the occasion of Deepotsav on Wednesday, CM Yogi said, “This work is being carried forward in the right way to present Ayodhya on the global stage.”

Describing it as the power of faith, he said that it is a proud moment for the people of India to see such an event.

Yogi said this was unimaginable five years ago, but not only was the festival of Deepotsav started by his government, but year after year the festival touched new heights. “Today UP as a spiritual city has become a focal point of faith, while the central and state governments are working relentlessly for the development of Ayodhya,” he said.

The CM was of the opinion that his government lived up to the trust of lakhs of people who fulfilled the holy resolution of Ram Janmabhoomi, but opened new avenues of development for the construction of a new Ayodhya.

He said that the new Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport, Raja Dashrath Medical College, modern bus stand, flyover, renovation of old temples as well as the construction of a grand and divine Ram temple has been the story of New Ayodhya.

He said, “Along with the people of Ayodhya, crores of Ram devotees from all over the world literally join us and witness this historic moment.”

Mahant Brijmohan Das of Ayodhya’s ‘Dasaratha Gaddi’ expressed his gratitude to the CM for reviving Ayodhya and restoring it to its ancient glory, which was ravaged by the previous regimes. Mahant said, “The entire Sant Samaj is grateful to CM Yogi for making Diwali very special by reviving ancient temples and ghats with the gift of medical college and airport.
