Hunting for vibration in Gujarat Congress. Why Rahul Gandhi should stop blaming colleagues

TeaJust before the war began, the hink of an army general who addressed the soldiers on the front line. What if he tells them that there are ‘traitors’ among them, who are associated with the enemy? He promises to filter them but soldiers will not stop looking at each other’s shoulders. Well, the war is lost before it starts.

Rahul Gandhi was a normal in a meeting with Congress workers and leaders in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The former party president told him that there were leaders in the Gujarat Congress who were working with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and until they were filtered, people would not trust the Congress. It is believed that it was talking to workers and leaders who did not see the Congress winning an assembly election in Gujarat for 35 years. No one knows trigger for this ‘internal sabotage’ theory, but it seems very familiar.

Remember his resignation letter after the Congress party’s defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections? He is believed to be the owner of the defeat and resigned as party president. But Four -page resignation letter Anything was there but the entry of mistakes. He said that he personally “fought” from “Prime Minister, President’s Self -Service Association and institutions” “captured” with everyone. Gandhi said, “Many times, I was completely standing alone and was very proud of it,” “Many people have to be accountable to the 2019 failure,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi is looking for “Vibhan” in the Congress of Gujarat, therefore, is not surprising. A few months after reducing BJP in Lok Sabha in 2024, Gandhi knotted knot in lump Ahmedabad: “We will defeat Narendra Modi and BJP in Gujarat, the way we did in Ayodhya.”

Seven months later, in the municipal elections last month, Congress was able to form board boards. Only 1 out of 68 municipalitiesFrom 12 – Even Samajwadi Party formed a board in two municipalities.

So, who was responsible for the path of Congress in the municipal elections? According to Gandhi’s principle on Saturday, it was the ‘Vibhishan’ of the Congress party. When he was appointed the General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee in charge of the Indian Youth Congress and NSUI in 2007, his main urination was against the ‘system’. After taking over as the vice -president of the party in Jaipur in January 2013, he said, “A system where a handful of people in power were removed from reality, impressed the decisions that impressed. Common man Or the common man, was a flawed system. “The answer is not in running the system better, but to give it to its” full change ” Common man A role in political place. “Why are people angry … because they are isolated from the system. Their voices are trampled,” he said.

So, who was responsible for the construction of this ‘system’ in Congress? His mother, not Sonia Gandhi, who was completing a 15 -year uninterrupted tenure as the Congress President, when he became the Vice President. Not the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, whose government was full of his nominees. He was referring to a “handful of people” who were universal and unacceptable and dominated the political place. The message was not lost on anyone. For Rahul, the old guard formed the system and had to break it. From then twelve years later, the old guard is completely sidelined or disappeared, he is still angry. He cannot blame the system at any time because he has run the party directly or indirectly in all these years. Therefore, Vibhis should blame for reducing the party where it is today.

Racets and wedding horses

Rahul Gandhi is barking the wrong tree, however. In fact, on Saturday, his speech gave a big clue about why nothing is changing for the Congress. As Gandhi recalled, a party worker from Madhya Pradesh told him about two types of horses – for one race and another for marriage. He told Rahul that the Congress was using races in weddings and wedding horse in race.

Rahul was interesting to listen to that conversation. Because the latest list of Congress’ organizational appointments verified what the MP Congress work told him.

One of the new general secretaries Syed Naseer Hussain Who cut his teeth in politics as the Leader of the Students Federation of India (SFI), the Wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He later joined the Indian Youth Congress and reached the Oscar Fernandes and then Mallikrajun Kharge. He is now in his second term in Rajya Sabha. Any person who never won a direct election is now AICC in charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Former Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu, who presided over the party’s disintegration in the 2022 assembly elections in the state, has been appointed AICC in -charge of Odisha. The last time the Congress won an assembly election in Odisha in 1995. Lallu now expects to change the fate of the party.

K Raju, a former bureaucrat and a reliable lieutenant of Rahul, who has never contested, is now in charge in the AICC of Jharkhand. He is away from the block, accepting that the Jharkhand Congress has ‘sleeper cells’, such as in Gujarat, who are joining the BJP.

Youth Congress leader Krishna Alvaru, who never chose elections, was made in charge of Bihar. He has already formed a discussion, saying that the Congress will hold the next election in the state as A-Tim, not the B-Team of the President Janata Dal.

There was another interesting name in the list of new office-bearrs Meenakshi NatarajanThose who have been made in charge of Congress ruled Telangana. She was the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress President from 2002 to 2005 and won a controversy, which was shouting slogans “Gau Hamari is the mother, Atal Bihari eats(The cow is our mother and Atal Bihari eats her) “He soon reached himself to Rahul Gandhi and came to his original group. Inner sources of the party say that whatever happened to Gandhi was his unstable simplicity and penance. After his appointment as Telangana in-charge, he took a train from Delhi to Hyderabad and would not allow any party official to take his bags. After losing the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Mandsaur, she only got away to a surprise with her new role as in -charge of Telangana.

A lot for the difference between race and wedding horses!

Take responsibility

Rahul Gandhi constantly emphasized that Congress leaders and workers talk with people to understand what they want from the party. He can do well to talk with these leaders and workers. For example, in Karnataka they are still wondering why both Gandhi and Kharge stayed away from meeting global investors in Bengaluru. There was speculation in the party that he chose a snub to the Siddaramaiah -led government to invite Union ministers and BJP leaders for a big event. The high command has not disturbed to offer any explanation, though.

Gandhi-Kirge may also like to tell Congress leaders and workers why they stay away from Mahakumba. When Sonia Gandhi took a dip in the Mahakumba in 2001, the Congress explained: “Sonia’s journey is in line with the tradition of the Nehru family. This has always responded to the impulses and beliefs of the broad public. “So, why did Gandhiis decide to stay away from this time?” Did they fail to understand the impulses and beliefs of millions of people who take a dip this time? Or, did they believe that it was a BJP incident, such as Ram Lalla’s consecration in the Ayodhya Ram temple, and so they had to leave it? There is no need to clarify the Gandhis clearly to party employees and leaders.

There are many other questions, Congress officials want to ask high command but they cannot. In a 2013 speech in Jaipur, Rahul Gandhi talked about “leadership development” and talked about the need to prepare 40-50 leaders who could run not only the states but also the country. There should be 10 such leaders in every state who can become the Chief Minister, they said.

He has been under the control of the party since then. Where are those leaders? Even leaders who can fit in this category today get very little support from high command today – Shashi Tharoor in Kerala, Gaurav Gogoi in Assam, Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan, Deepender Hooda in Haryana, Manish Tiwari in Punjab. These leaders have come far away on their own and must be thinking about their growth possibilities.

Why is it so reluctant to promote bright leaders? What is so special about Randeep Surjewal that he continues to call the shots in the party even after losing the last twice even after fighting an assembly poll? What is it in KC Venugopal that he has been the General Secretary (organization) over the years, with very little achievement to justify his role in the party? Despite Rahul Gandhi, why is there a Congress organization across the country, despite this, we have been talking about rebuilding it for years? Congress leaders and workers have many questions, but they can only talk in private.

It is easy to blame the system or various but Rahul Gandhi needs to do much more. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s chief strategists, Amit Shah, do not blame workers and leaders or do not question their loyalty and integrity-not publicly, not publicly for electoral loss or for performance under the party, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana or West Bengal. They move forward from the front and take electoral losses on the chin. Finding a goat of excuse or sacrifice is not the leadership.
